Free Medication Delivery
Can’t come to us? No problem, let us come to you! We gladly offer FREE DELIVERY* to our patients located in the Plano, TX area. We understand you can’t always make it into the pharmacy to pick up your medication. Just let us know you want your prescription delivered and we will bring it straight to your home or business!
Our pharmacy staff provides special attention and services for the elderly. Ask us about free delivery on our unit dose packaging, door-to-door transporation to medical appointments and personal need assesments.

Compounding
Perhaps you need your medication in a different strength, form or even flavor. At Texas Star Pharmacy, we’re prepared to meet your unique needs and provide high quality medications through our compounding services.
We work with our patients and providers to appropriately alter your medications creating an individualized prescription tailored to you. Through prescription customization, our compounding services better enable our patients to achieve optimal medication adherence, resulting in positive patient outcomes.

Immunizations
We are as committed to helping you avoid getting sick as we are to helping you feel better. We have certified and trained doctors of pharmacy who administer immunizations right in the store, and no appointments are necessary! Some immunizations may be billed to Medicare or your insurance plan. Immunization Hours: Monday-Friday: 10am – 12pm
Please allow at least 20 minutes to fill out required paperwork prior to immunization.
Consultation
Our wellness consultations are specifically customized for each patient with the objective of making lasting improvements in their quality of life. To determine individual needs, we’ve designed an approach which fosters a close relationship between patient, physician and our Doctors of Pharmacy.

Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a collaborative effort between you, your pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to promote the safe and effective use of medications. It is designed to help you achieve the targeted outcomes from a prescription regimen. MTM includes a range of services designed to help you.

Diabetic Services
With such a high percentage of individuals affected by diabetes, Texas Star Pharmacy offers dedicated services to streamline diabetic care and maintenance. We offer a complete line of products including: Blood glucose meters, Test strips, Injection supplies and Insulin.
In addition, we can transmit information from Abbott meters to your healthcare provider to facilitate insulin adjustments. Our system uploads your most recent reading to your doctor’s office, enabling your physician or nurse practitioner to evaluate and adjust your insulin. The adjusted dosage is then communicated back to the pharmacy so your prescription can be filled while you wait.
Unit Dose Packaging
Unit Dose packaging provides convenient dose monitoring and prescription compliance for busy individuals by reducing errors and preventing missed doses for the duration of the therapy.
Using unit dose packaging, the patients’ pills and capsules are parceled in perforated blister packs, which packaging can be customized for daily or time of day dosage, depending on the unique needs of the patient. Unit dose packaging also assists in safeguarding the products efficacy by protecting each pill until it is administered.
